When đŸ’© hits the fan...

Holy crap! This past week put me over the edge.

Have you ever thought “yeah, I got this!”, then out of no where your week is completely turned upside down, your very healthy plate of feel good vibes has turned to mush and you’ve now been thrusted into overwhelm mode?

Yup, that was me for the last 7 days.

I know my mission is to keep you motivated, to keep you thinking on the positive side of things. And the above may sound the exact opposite of that.

But I also know it’s important we keep it real.

Yes
if you take a class with me at the studio, you will always be greeted with enthusiasm.

Yes
pick any of the workout videos on 
JBirdFitness.com and you will hear me constantly shouting out boat loads of cheers to keep you going.

Yes...workout with me from home during our LIVE classes and I will undoubtable begin the broadcast with a FUN inspiring song & most likely be dancing before the sweat session even gets started.


But
I’m human just like you.

We all have good days.
We all have bad days.
We all have in between days.


I’ve come to learn, when I’m having a bad day (or week, for this matter) It’s ok.

But if I dwell on it
it lasts longer.

(Still waiting for the positive punch line? Here it is.)

The Good News.

If you let it go
You have the freedom to choose, good, bad or in between.

So if you’ve been having a tough time staying motivated, getting yourself going these day or maybe you simply had a set-back like I did...

It’s time to shake it off, say good-bye to the winter blues & GET MOVING!

How?

Set your priorities straight and strive to keep a healthy balance with the things that are important to you.

See I was overwhelmed this past week because I pushed the boundaries on what I could realistically achieve, even during a perfect week.

And we all know Nothin’...Is...Perfect!

I was ok with the kids having off on President's Day but as the week unfolded...my computer decided it’s memory was overloaded, I was in way over my head in technological chaos and then we got slammed again with snow, snow & more SNOW!

You catch my drift, yes?

Just reading that brought my shoulders up to my ears. Hope that didn’t happen to you, but if it did
let’s take a deep breath.

Ahhhh
that’s better.

Wow! And we did all that in under 10 seconds.

Imagine what we could accomplish in a quick 15 minute workout or even more amazing during a 60 minute class together.

Point being...even your fitness trainer slips up every now and again, forgetting to balance out my time between what needs to get done and what’s good for me & my body.

So, as one human to another

Take the time this week to reinstate your love & commitment to staying healthy and strong. And make sure to sprinkle some me
(I mean YOU) time into this crazy thing we call life.

What's Happening with JBird Fitness:
